Cento Miglia Car Rally

This unique summer event draws automobile and design enthusiasts, both young and old. The Rally is inspired by the legendary Mille Miglia Race in Italy. This 100-mile auto rally brings together a lineup of cars on a route through the streets of Montreal and surrounding areas, leading to a secret destination.

2012 Rally

On September, 8th the third edition of the Cento Miglia Rally took place, with all profits from the event going to the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the Institut de Recherches Cliniques de Montreal and other philanthropic initiatives which the FCCI supports. Under the presidency of FCCI governor Mr. Jos Paulin this year’s edition of the event was a huge success!

More than fifty cars arrived at the Leonardo da Vinci Center in the early morning hours, eagerly awaiting to begin the illustrious race. Once departed from the starting line participating automobiles made their way through the streets of Montreal- following the trail to the Park du Domaine Vert in Mirabel. The challenging but enjoyable route finally ended at the Aviation Etcetera Hangar where delicious cocktails, an exciting auction and an impressive F18 Canadian Military airplane awaited guests.

The winners of this edition of the Cento Miglia Rally were Mr. Jonathan Lianza and Ms. Gabriella Musacchio.

2008 Rally

On July 5th, 2008, over 110 rally teams hit the road for one great cause in the 2nd edition of the Cento Miglia. Starting from Leonardo da Vinci Centre, some of the world’s most exciting vehicles maneuvered their way through the scenic routes in and around Verchère, Varennes and Saint-Marc sur Richelieu. As the cars crossed the finish line at the legendary Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, Rally teams were greeted by family and friends at an unforgettable gala featuring gourmet dining, fabulous cocktails, a silent and live auction, a couple of Batmobiles and a Dukes of Hazzard Charger.

By night’s end, over $450,000 was raised in support of the Montreal Children’s Hospital, Ste-Justine Hospital and charitable endeavors of the Italian-Canadian Community Foundation. The FCCI would like to thank all the participants, sponsors and donors for making the 2nd edition of the Cento Miglia an incredible success. Words cannot express our gratitude for your generous support.
