Philanthropy is defined both as an act of giving and as a love of humankind. We are committed to improving the community by focusing on Youth & Seniors, Education, Italian Language & Culture.

HEALTH & SERVICES

To support the health sector is to facilitate the giving and receiving of health care services to sustain the well-being of our community.

The Foundation distributes funds to organizations whose mission is to provide services and educate our community in order to live a better life. Our primary partner in the health sector is the Italian-Canadian Community Services.

ITALIAN LANGUAGE

The Italian language – la nostra lingua – is what unites us.

Regardless of dialect or proficiency or how many generations removed, the Italian language is the essence of our Italianità. To support organizations that teach Italian is to ensure that our future generations do not forget their mother tongue.

YOUTH & SENIORS

Supporting our youth gives them the opportunity to succeed and create a better future. The Foundation supports the upcoming generations by providing funding for bursary programs, as well as organizations that promote youth causes.

Seniors make up the foundation of our community; they have strived to create a better life for us all. The Foundation helps to ensure that seniors can access quality services, resources and programs that would otherwise not be available to them.

By donating to this sector, you will help provide bursaries through the C.I.B.P.A. and help us feed more seniors through the C.R.A.I.C. Popote Roulante program.

CULTURE & HERITAGE

The Italian culture has a rich history that includes art, music, and gastronomy.

Through the sponsorship of cultural events and exhibitions, the Foundation is ensuring a strong and vibrant community for years to come. By preserving our heritage, we will ensure that our history will be appreciated by future generations.

By donating to this sector, you will help in the preservation of our heritage with the archives program at the Casa d’Italia, cultural activities at the Leonardo da Vinci Centre, as well as contribute to our largest cultural event: Montreal’s Italian Week.
